[Updated on Mar 12, 2025] This upgrade will take place in four phases, each scheduled during business hours. Please note that the dates below are indicative and may be subject to change. We are committed to keeping you informed of any changes via our blog, where we will regularly update the information.

Phase 1: March 27, 2025 (global platform downtime for approximately 20 minutes between 10am and 12pm)

During the global downtime, the following impacts may be observed:

  • LoRaWAN: Messages will continue to be collected and will be transmitted to the platform upon restart, resulting in a slight delay but ensuring no data loss. Message traffic may increase by up to 2x during platform service restoration.
  • MQTT/LwM2M: Disconnection of devices, with a risk of data loss depending on the supported Quality of Service (QoS).
  • SMS: Loss of SMS messages to the platform.
  • Live Objects portal and APIs: Service unavailability.

Phase 2: April 29, 2025 (partial downtime for 3 hours)

The following impacts may result from this partial downtime:

  • Data collection and message routing (via HTTP push, MQTT FIFOs, or Cloud Connectors) will remain active.
  • Live Objects portal and APIs: service unavailability for 30 minutes.
  • Search APIs and advanced search functions in the Data menu: unavailability for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • There will be a delay between data collection and its availability via the search API and search functions on the portal.

Phase 3: June 3, 2025 (global platform downtime for approximately 20 minutes)

The impacts are similar to those of Phase 1, but with an additional impact regarding outgoing IP addresses that will change. This will affect users who use an IP address whitelist. If you are affected by this change, we encourage you to contact our support.

We would like to clarify that we cannot guarantee that the outgoing IP addresses will remain unchanged.

Phase 4: June 11, 2025 (no impact)

All DNS records will be updated to point to the new infrastructure, resulting in a change of associated IP addresses.

Devices and applications will need to update their DNS resolution for these addresses within a maximum of 7 days. This will ensure a seamless transition.

We remind you that it is recommended to configure devices to use the FQDNs of the Live Objects server rather than IP addresses, as these may change without notice.

We will keep you informed of the exact dates and durations of the downtimes in the coming weeks. Our priority is to ensure a smooth transition and minimize the impact on your operations.

Thank you for your understanding and your trust.
