Helping you to ensure end to end security of your IoT services is our main concern, we do not accept non TLS connection anymore

In real you have up to October 31st 2020, but sooner is the better.

Helping you to ensure end to end security of your IoT services is our main concern, so Live Objects is upgrading its Interfaces access policy.

New Live Objects policy will be:

  • TLS 1.2 or higher for all our endpoints (MQTTS, https, Web socket TLS).
  • MQTT no secure forbidden except for MQTT “device” mode.
    • MQTT no secure is still available for device mode but we strongly recommend to use a secure connection.
    • MQTT device mode only enable to send data in Live Objects

These restrictions will be applied on October 31, 2020. After that time, non TLS connections won’t work anymore.

Please refer to our developer guide, MQTT section for more information.
